Hi everyone,
Firstly I have no idea how many people will ever publicly read this blog, but for now I'm just starting this for my own purposes. The objective of this blog is to record my experiences in developing a 3D game on the Microsoft XNA Studio platform. This is to be my final year project in my BSc Computing degree course.
Throughout this blog I hope to record my experiences, problems, and hopefully solutions during my project's development. Let me just fill you in on my programming experience... I've previously made a game on Game Maker, which is a far cry from hard coding in C#, and I have also never delved into 3D programming or graphics AT ALL, so to say this is an ambitious project is an understatement. However, as it is, I can only do my best and hopefully get by to create some sort of primitive 3D game. I have until next May approximately to submit my project.
So far my idea is to create a small game similar to Microsoft's Hover game from ~1995. This may prove too ambitious in the future but for now it is my aim.
